About Worship at Abiding Savior
Worship at Abiding Savior includes an exciting blend of traditional and contemporary styles and music reflecting our African American heritage and our commitment to cultural diversity.
Following the ancient practice of the Christian Church, we gather together be addressed by God's Word of compassion, promise, forgiveness and love as it is proclaimed in Scripture and preaching.
Each Sunday our worship includes;
The powerful presence of our Lord Jesus Christ is celebrated in Holy Communion and all are welcome to share in the Lord's Table.
We welcome you to join us in receiving Jesus Christ's declaration of hope, freedom and wholeness.
- Confessing our sins and receiving God's forgiveness,
- Singing both new and the old familiar songs,
- Responding to God's love with praise and thanksgiving, and sharing a measure of the time, talent and resources with which we have been blessed.
